Meet CHARLES . . .
Charles Goyette is a popular radio personality based in Phoenix, best known across the nation for refusing demands that he support President Bush’s elective war in Iraq. Because of his vision, outspokenness, and the clarity of his positions, radio listeners everywhere are finding they can’t get enough of “America’s Most Independent Talk Show Host!”
Regular weekly visitors to the Charles Goyette have included legendary investor Jim Rogers, who alerted listeners to the certainty of $100 oil years ago and to the bull market in gold when it was below $400 an ounce! Colonel David Hackworth, one of America's most decorated veterans and America’s service men and women’s best-known watchdog, was another weekly regular. In fact "Hack" was dubbed "The Official Charles Goyette Show Secretary of Defense!"
When the Scooter Libby verdict was handed down listeners knew they'd hear Ambassador Joseph Wilson, the central figure in the story, on The Charles Goyette Show. When Pulitzer Prize winner Seymour Hersh, (he broke the Abu Ghraib story) has another blockbuster, you'll find him on network television... and on The Charles Goyette Show! Remember when O.J. Simpson proposed an "If I Did It" book? Fred Goldman let loose on the next Charles Goyette Show!
Charles has the clout to get the newsmakers first. When Venezuela's fiery Hugo Chavez addressed the United Nations, waving a book in the world's face, only one talk show host had its author, Noam Chomsky on his next show! When all the network news anchors gasped as a CIA veteran and Charles Goyette Show regular held Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld's feet to the fire in a public forum, Charles Goyette listeners knew they could count on getting the story behind the story! When questions arise about the presidential candidate's finance chairman, Charles has the exclusive with the attorney who sued! A new development in the hunt for Osama bin Laden? Michael Scheuer - he headed up the CIA's bin Laden operation - explains the news!
Over and over again, the newsmakers and the insiders show up on The Charles Goyette Show. Why? Sources and connections developed over years! A carefully crafted reputation for being professional and ahead of the pack! Even the people who "don't do radio" do The Charles Goyette Show!
Pat Buchanan, Lou Dobbs, pollster John Zogby, veteran White House correspondent Helen Thomas, McLaughlin Group panelist Eleanor Clift, Charley Rangel, Tom Delay; whistleblowers like Sibel Edmonds, Daniel Ellsberg, John Dean, Scott Ritter and David Kuo - all seen on "60 Minutes" - and heard on The Charles Goyette Show; market mavens like "Mish," Peter Schiff, Dr. Ravi Batra; military leaders like General William Odom and Wesley Clark; reporters: Nikki Finke in Hollywood, A.B. Stoddard on Capitol Hill, Bill Gertz at the Washington Times, Michael Isikoff at Newsweek, John King and Candy Crowley from CNN, Thomas Ricks from the Pentagon beat at the Washington Post... It's guests like these, heard again and again when they have the story behind the story! In fact, such is the reputation of The Charles Goyette Show, that when the big stories break, the newsmakers call us!
Sometimes it's the unexpected, but it’s always so compelling that listeners report they can't leave their cars and turn off the radio! The documentary maker who says he's found the tomb of Jesus (wouldn't you listen?), Allison DuBois (they made the TV hit MEDIUM about her!) physicist Dr. Michio Kaku (he invented SuperString Field Theory!) Steve Wozniak (he practically invented the personal computer and is one of the two Steves who founded Apple!) Day in and day out, Charles Goyette Show listeners are treated to a feast of talk radio delights. After all, who wouldn't want to hear a few minutes from Miss America (what does she really think?), or talk to the woman who had her microphone suddenly cut off by Bill O'Reilly on TV the night before!
Charles brings to his commentary a real depth of hands-on political and campaign experience. He has been employed by national and statewide campaign organizations and has been on the front lines of some of the nation’s most momentous policy debates. A popular speaker, he is distinguished for his public and broadcast presentations on financial and geopolitical conditions, and has addressed major investment conferences, seminar and civic audiences across the country on economic and national policy issues.
Charles has been interviewed by newspapers and magazines, as well as television and radio stations around the world. His articles and transcripts of his speeches have been published in The American Conservative Magazine, Talkers Magazine, newspapers, and popular political websites. Charles has shared his views with television audiences nationally on CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, and PBS, including on “The O’Reilly Factor,” and on the popular PBS program “NOW with Bill Moyers.” He is also a frequent commentator on “Lou Dobbs Tonight” on CNN. Recently a national television documentary team chose to feature Charles’ radio show for a forthcoming PBS special exploring immigration issues. Charles can be heard on talk radio across the country, filling in for syndicated national talk show hosts, and as a principal contributor to AntiWar Radio at AntiWar.com.

Charles breaks out of the news and political arena from time to time, in demand as a popular speaker on issues of human consciousness and spirituality, and on practical techniques for changing life circumstances with thoughts, attitudes and emotions. Charles enjoys skiing, hiking, good company and conversation, as well as writing. In addition to writing about politics and current events, Charles has completed a screenplay on the life of the famous American seer Edgar Cayce.
